<br />
I know, I know... It is crazy to even talk about Fall because Summer just officially started the 21st, but you know with fashion everything is ahead so that you can catch up on the trends just in time :D<br />
<br />
Chanel's Fall Collection have really great metallic colors that are played up over the expectations of their true followers. All the shimmers in this collection are so cleverly put into the product that it doesn't over power it but actually enhances it.<br />
<br />
I'll be quiet now so you guys can take a gander at the collection and it will speak for itself :D<br />

It's always fun to have an event to look forward to, especially getting glammed up. I know it has probably been crazy with dress shopping and buying tickets. I don't know about now but when I was in high school (4 years ago)... tickets were almost 200 so I couldn't imagine now! So... I decided to do a Prom on a Budget Hair and Makeup to help you all with some expenses AND you can have some fun doing it.<br />
<br />
I decided to use taupe colors for the eyes because it is really complimenting on any eyecolor AND more importantly for Prom it will compliment any dress color. Taupe is an in- between color of purple and brown so it can really go both cool or warm.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FebXm-T5SHI/TbHJNh_94CI/AAAAAAAAAPs/NXElEs5kzcg/s1600/DSC01391.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FebXm-T5SHI/TbHJNh_94CI/AAAAAAAAAPs/NXElEs5kzcg/s640/DSC01391.JPG" width="443" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-16YigRBbNvw/TbHJOt2jPYI/AAAAAAAAAPw/2zBsn4YCVc8/s1600/DSC01394.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="383" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-16YigRBbNvw/TbHJOt2jPYI/AAAAAAAAAPw/2zBsn4YCVc8/s400/DSC01394.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />

Sometimes less is more and you don't want to have the focus on your eyeshadow... you want the focus on your eyes. This look is only used with budget friendly products you can find at your local drugstores. So... I hope this will help make your Prom Night or any other special event that much more magical!<br />

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"> A long with a budget friendly makeup look, here is a great hair look too! I always find myself using this look for a night out and I ALWAYS get compliments. Just like a lot of hair styles people always look and wonder how did you create the look. Sometimes it's easier than you think. This look I've created will give you volume and a put together look without paying a cent. You can just do it on yourself! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT colors!! I'm so excited and to get in the mood Chanel has launched their new Summer Collection. What's a better way to get in the mood of a new season than splurging and then being broke lol. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;">CHANEL 2011 SUMMER COLLECTION</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tHznz19rZxE/TaooFyl0QEI/AAAAAAAAAOI/s0rgEIWU2pA/s1600/Chanel-Summer-2011-Promo-2-Allura-786x1024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tHznz19rZxE/TaooFyl0QEI/AAAAAAAAAOI/s0rgEIWU2pA/s320/Chanel-Summer-2011-Promo-2-Allura-786x1024.jpg" width="245" /></a></div><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> First off I wanted to show you the nail polishes because this is what drawled me to this collection. The yellow or STAR of this collection is called Mimosa! It is just amazing. Chanel introduced to us Black as chic and now Yellow is chic/stylish. I absolutely love this color and here you will see close up of the color on my nails. I do however do not think this shade is complimented on all skintones but I may be wrong. I haven't seen any fair skin gals wear this polish yet to judge. My skin color is NC30-35 and I love this color on me. Even though it is "yellow" the quality of the polish and the layers of dimension it has, it is just so flattering. There is shimmer/pearl effects in the polish but it seems to have a flat/cream finish indoors unless under light. In different angles the color has different effects. I cannot explain as well as the photos below can. So I'll let you all be the judge ;D</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Wr11Kjw3NbI/Taopx79A4fI/AAAAAAAAAOQ/N6rUM5xO_U4/s1600/DSC01345.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Wr11Kjw3NbI/Taopx79A4fI/AAAAAAAAAOQ/N6rUM5xO_U4/s400/DSC01345.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1raRfeQ145A/Taopy561HJI/AAAAAAAAAOU/3nA-hGVtdSc/s1600/DSC01347.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="255" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1raRfeQ145A/Taopy561HJI/AAAAAAAAAOU/3nA-hGVtdSc/s400/DSC01347.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2E72N_ydWMY/TaopzST-ThI/AAAAAAAAAOY/zZoB52q03xo/s1600/DSC01348.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="245" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2E72N_ydWMY/TaopzST-ThI/AAAAAAAAAOY/zZoB52q03xo/s400/DSC01348.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CnFkd9d6esw/Taop0Y9fOcI/AAAAAAAAAOc/pmOIb17HXSw/s1600/DSC01352.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="315" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CnFkd9d6esw/Taop0Y9fOcI/AAAAAAAAAOc/pmOIb17HXSw/s400/DSC01352.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4zVri3G65lU/Taorr2eQHkI/AAAAAAAAAOs/XsB1FiE1YLI/s1600/DSC01359.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="299" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4zVri3G65lU/Taorr2eQHkI/AAAAAAAAAOs/XsB1FiE1YLI/s320/DSC01359.JPG" width="320" /></a> And along with this collection there are two other shades that are also limited edition. The beige color I did not get because it appeared to be very boring and easily duped with other brands. I did however got the pink color in Morning Rose. It has the same gold shimmer as Miami Peach, yet it is a bright and soft pink. I know... how can something be bright AND soft? Well, it can be very bright but the color itself is a soft warmer pink. I haven't tried it on my nails to judge the color, whether I like it or not, nor can I say if the color is a must have. I will change my polish next week and take some detailed pictures of the polish on me for your reference. Here are just the pictures of the bottle in the sun, so that you can see the shimmers. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dH-gxx68h0o/TaorSl9MmxI/AAAAAAAAAOg/be4wBiFQfdA/s1600/DSC01354.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dH-gxx68h0o/TaorSl9MmxI/AAAAAAAAAOg/be4wBiFQfdA/s400/DSC01354.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uci5rzwelEw/TaorU1ltcOI/AAAAAAAAAOk/Wus_FR7EH1w/s1600/DSC01355.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uci5rzwelEw/TaorU1ltcOI/AAAAAAAAAOk/Wus_FR7EH1w/s400/DSC01355.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7O6XDaEeOQE/TaorXVw2QwI/AAAAAAAAAOo/0uCsxSMTO1g/s1600/DSC01356.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7O6XDaEeOQE/TaorXVw2QwI/AAAAAAAAAOo/0uCsxSMTO1g/s400/DSC01356.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> And now for the BEST of the bunch. Yes, Mimosa nail polish was already, in my opinion, the POW! of this collection but there is more. I didn't think much of the Bronzer/Blush from the previews I saw online before the collection was launched, but I tried them in stores and I gotta say they took my breathe away! I might like them better than my HG Rock & Republic Blushes! YUP I SAID IT!! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--U-TCHIkOJY/TaosTDZlP2I/AAAAAAAAAOw/IQNaWdWKHLM/s1600/DSC01327.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="222" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--U-TCHIkOJY/TaosTDZlP2I/AAAAAAAAAOw/IQNaWdWKHLM/s400/DSC01327.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zZWnAHTenk8/TaosUKUNn_I/AAAAAAAAAO0/l-wppXTINBU/s1600/DSC01330.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="271" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zZWnAHTenk8/TaosUKUNn_I/AAAAAAAAAO0/l-wppXTINBU/s400/DSC01330.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> There are two from the collection and I got BOTH!! I loved it that much. One is Bronze Rose and the other is Bronze Corail. I've been reaching for the Rose one more even though my initial breathe was taken away by the Corail. Even though CHANEL calls it bronzers they seem more like a "mosiac" blush to me. The bronze sections give you warmth and depth to your cheeks and the color/blush part gives you that extra pop of color. I think either would look great on all skintones, but the Rose one would definitely look better on fair skin. You're getting 14 g for $50 and I must add you also get a brush with Chanel's logo on it and the packaging is lovely. Same size as the Chanel Double Perfection Foundation Compact, but instead of a white logo on the cover it is gold for Soliel Tan de Chanel. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;"> SPRING is here and can you tell I am super duper excited! Fall is my favorite season for many reasons including fashion and makeup looks, but anyone can get tired of the cold. I know a lot of people in the North and East are experiencing a lot of snow and yucky weather, so let's help them enter spring on a brighter note.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-cKv0B1LE2aU/TYzH338mw8I/AAAAAAAAANk/4eCgcTyy7ZU/s1600/DSC01188.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-cKv0B1LE2aU/TYzH338mw8I/AAAAAAAAANk/4eCgcTyy7ZU/s400/DSC01188.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> This look was inspired by my happy mood when finding out it is officially Spring. I got to go to the park with my niece and nephew and feed the ducks the other day and something reminded me it's SPRING.... sudden rain fall haha but it was fun! Grass is growing green again and flowers blooming.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> So enough of my obsession with Spring, let's go on to the look! As you can tell I was inspired with blue skies and sunshine. These colors might be loud but if you apply it correctly, you can really make your eyes pop as well as your mood!</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-l0a-vMefIbc/TYzIBkqTAMI/AAAAAAAAANo/sMCE1ed6w4E/s1600/DSC01187.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-l0a-vMefIbc/TYzIBkqTAMI/AAAAAAAAANo/sMCE1ed6w4E/s400/DSC01187.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"> You don't have to use the exact colors I am, but when using bright colors it is best to use matte. You don't want to draw too much attention to the eyes because the colors already make a statement. More importantly do not use a large section of your eyes for the color. Try to concentrate in one area and then BLEND BLEND BLEND. The more you blend the more "natural" the bright colors can seem. When using a lot of color on your lids try to not line your eyes too dark or wing out the liner. Any dramatic effect can really make the eyes look "clown-like". You want to keep in mind that you want it to be SOFT!</div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Colors in natural light (more important since it's Spring)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-SdJn2ebrUjM/TYzIJ47WiSI/AAAAAAAAANs/IrYy_ei3J-Y/s1600/DSC01180.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="152" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-SdJn2ebrUjM/TYzIJ47WiSI/AAAAAAAAANs/IrYy_ei3J-Y/s400/DSC01180.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Colors with FLASH and indoors</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-DxrzeXaHiw8/TYzIKAMFIAI/AAAAAAAAANw/X2An7VNy-0Y/s1600/DSC01204.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="187" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-DxrzeXaHiw8/TYzIKAMFIAI/AAAAAAAAANw/X2An7VNy-0Y/s400/DSC01204.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Keep the cheeks and lips simple as well. I choose a cool tone pink because I didn't want to keep the focus away from the eyes. Gloss is always a better alternative to lipstick when you're doing a playful look. CHANEL Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss is really light and natural, yet it lasts forever and non-sticky! Which is a definite plus when you're running around outside.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I've been dancing the night away to J. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> I used her look when she is wearing the silver jumpsuit in the music video as inspiration. Of course it doesn't look completely like her or her look, but I don't look like her. My eyes are rounder so I had to stop the lower lash liner in the middle instead of further into the corner of the eye. Also bc my eyes are black I didn't want to line my lash line with the brown eyeshadow like she did. I also changed the main eyeshadow color to a darker blue tone brown due to my dark hair, but that's the art of makeup you have to change things up accordingly to yourself. That's what makes you unique. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.chanel.com/en_GB/fragrance-beauty/cms2export//Site6Files/P151880/P151880_LARGE.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://www.chanel.com/en_GB/fragrance-beauty/cms2export//Site6Files/P151880/P151880_LARGE.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
</div><br />
I'm so ready for Spring considering it is Spring Break for me. The trees are blooming flowers, children are playing in the park, and most importantly... pastels, neons, brights OH MY!<br />
<br />
I am a FALL/WINTER kind of gal, but after being in darker tones I am so ready for lighter cutesy colors. Spring fashion with jumpsuits, skirts, and sun dresses are calling my name. Speaking of Spring and the light colorful colors that are associated with it, CHANEL does a different take on Spring with pearl inspired in their new collection. As you've seen everywhere on the net, BLACK PEARL Nail Vernis is the focal point of their Spring Collection. Very odd that darker colors are in the collection, but the iridescent pearl effect just works with spring colors such as corals and pinks.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Palette indoors</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://beaut.ie/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/chan1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="http://beaut.ie/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/chan1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div> Ombree Perlees de Chanel is an eyeshadow quint that is limited edition. The colors are more of a creamy texture rather than powder. In the pan it looks gorgeous and is similar to different colors of true pearls with many dimension to the color. I must say that CHANEL making it a limited edition is very smart move because there are no DUPES for theses colors anywhere. The quality of specs incorporated into each color is astounding. But does that make the palette a must have???<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Palette in Sunlight </b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Ak0iTTxpvqQ/TX2fpr6fJqI/AAAAAAAAAMA/hYyVR56mKJY/s1600/DSC00969.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Ak0iTTxpvqQ/TX2fpr6fJqI/AAAAAAAAAMA/hYyVR56mKJY/s400/DSC00969.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-UP13CkoZdew/TX2fm2UKrrI/AAAAAAAAAL8/GsBuePsCqUU/s1600/DSC00968.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-UP13CkoZdew/TX2fm2UKrrI/AAAAAAAAAL8/GsBuePsCqUU/s400/DSC00968.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> In my opinion it is could very easily be a pass if you ask me. I know there are so many raves and hypes about this quint just because it is very different from other CHANEL eyeshadows/products but I think the quality pay off on the lids do not live up to everyones expectation. The pigmentation is just too light. Even though, below you will be able to see the swatches, these are actually heavily swatched using the sponge applicator provided by the palette. If you were to use a brush, which I imagine many of us would... the colors do not apply very well. I find it difficult to just use the sponge for most of my applications because it isn't as precise. If you have fair skin I think this would look better on you than it would on anyone with a bit of color. Having a very light canvas and blue or green eyes will work with this palette better. With that said I am saying it would look better in those conditions, but not to the expectations of $65 UD. I wish the colors were similar to the colors in the pain or at least in my swatches but it was just too hard to work with and I do not think it is worth it. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> I did try to take pictures in the sunlight as well as in different positions for you to see the different shimmers and pearl effect in the shadows. Keep in mind this is heavily swatched with the sponge applicator. This is NOT how it would look if you were to use it with a brush on your lids even with a primer. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>In natural lighting (Direct Sunlight)</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-8ffCsubu8Vk/TX2hIHzsBII/AAAAAAAAAME/W537AKHsF8Y/s1600/DSC00959.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="206" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-8ffCsubu8Vk/TX2hIHzsBII/AAAAAAAAAME/W537AKHsF8Y/s400/DSC00959.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> The last photo, which is indoors without light is almost true to color as it would be on your lids. I tried using multiple primers such as MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre, Urban Decay Potion, Lancome Ombre Perfectur, etc. and it just didn't do that much for the shadows. I am disappointed in this item really and decided to go see other reviews... unfortunately everyone else liked it. I have no idea how? Maybe they are like me with some products and are in denial because of the brand status or the packaging perhaps? Or maybe I'm missing something here... Let me know how you like yours or if you've tried it out. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />

Hope you can see the different colors and sizes of glitter and sparkles under the Shatter. I think this is the best color to go under<b> OPI Shatter</b>, what do you think?<br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> I got a request from a subscriber/viewer (Michelle Gill) on my facebook for the Britney Spear's look from her "Hold it Against Me" Music Video. The specific scene is the one she is in the white dress. I was so worried I couldn't do it because I didn't have light colored eyes and blonde hair, but I tried my best to break down what makes Britney's HIAM look unique. Trust me, it was hard because there aren't many screen shots on Google that was large enough and I had to continuously press pause and play on her video to see every angle of her eye makeup. Please keep in mind that me and Britney look nothing alike so the look is more like an inspirational look from Britney not <i>how to</i> look like Britney.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zIn1Ef13sOY/TXGTKR431gI/AAAAAAAAALk/KJJ-l--VzAo/s1600/DSC01019.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zIn1Ef13sOY/TXGTKR431gI/AAAAAAAAALk/KJJ-l--VzAo/s400/DSC01019.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LwZYFgaeIjk/TXGTMjoiJBI/AAAAAAAAALo/8NCjs2eq0hA/s1600/DSC01021.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LwZYFgaeIjk/TXGTMjoiJBI/AAAAAAAAALo/8NCjs2eq0hA/s400/DSC01021.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-MtU8r0hDIR0/TXGVAFqgn7I/AAAAAAAAAL0/9m8Q9mJ43gs/s1600/DSC01022.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-MtU8r0hDIR0/TXGVAFqgn7I/AAAAAAAAAL0/9m8Q9mJ43gs/s400/DSC01022.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> In order to achieve Britney's look I think the most important thing to focus on is the shape of the eyeliner and how intense the color is. The eyeshadow is easy because you only need two colors and could probably just use one. As long as the crease is define at the outer and inner part. I noticed on YouTube people thought that the inner corner of Britney's eyes are "highlighted" with a dark color. I think her crease is larger so it makes it look that way. In order to give depth to your eyes and create a larger crease/lid you need to apply a darker matte brown to the area above the inner corner of your eyes. I mostly used the NAKED Palette from Urban Decay to achieve this look because I think it's one of the palette most people have or at least have the colors in them.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QRuFtc54uoo/TXGU8hG0VvI/AAAAAAAAALw/oeCMlT-zUlU/s1600/DSC01020.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="167" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QRuFtc54uoo/TXGU8hG0VvI/AAAAAAAAALw/oeCMlT-zUlU/s400/DSC01020.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> The most important part is the liner. It is very dramatic and the wing is very long. The tip is thin yet the middle is very thick, therefore the effect is sad droopy eyes. My eyes are round so, I had to draw the liner longer and then fill it in between the top liner and the lower lash liner. You might not have notice but to make the look pop in the lights, Britney's liner has blue specs that make her eyes twinkle. I added a blue liner and blended it out with a gun metal color. To help with the look lashes are also important. Finding the perfect shape and type of lashes can really make a difference to each look. I choose Forever21 lashes for only 2.80 USD. You don't have to get high end lashes as long as you know what shape you're looking for. Britney's HIAM look have unnatural lashes that makes the eyes elongated. I got ones that are full as well as have a flare to the end. Britney's lower lashes are clumped together and are dark, so I bought lashes that are plastic and pointed. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-z3MnfSWnxZs/TXGWRs1gmkI/AAAAAAAAAL4/GbXieCjUvQQ/s1600/DSC01040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-z3MnfSWnxZs/TXGWRs1gmkI/AAAAAAAAAL4/GbXieCjUvQQ/s400/DSC01040.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> In the video I couldn't see Britney's blush very well but I knew she did not have it on her apples but more to the side of her cheeks as contour. I used a rose color with brown undertones because the eyes are the focal point of the look (Bobbi Brown in Tawny #2). For the lips I used a mauve natural pink by MAC in Hug Me (Lustre finish) with a little bit of gloss by Rock and Republic in Hot Sauce, which is a coral with gold shimmers. Even though it looks like Britney is wearing lip liner, I decided to pass because I want the lips to look less played up and let the eyes do the talking. </div><div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/IYU81Qensbo?hd=1" title="YouTube video player" width="560"></iframe><br />
<br />
</div><div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> Even though I was afraid to try to mimic Britney's HIAM look, I've learned that it's not that bad once you break things down. I think everyone should experiment with looks that they like on celebrities in movies, magazines, shows, etc. so that you can learn from it. Creativity comes from experimenting. And remember, don't try so hard to copy, but use it as an inspiration. And don't give up. I like using inspiring looks and making it my own with some tweaks. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />

Jeanius, Cremeblends, Sheen Supreme OH MY!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/mac-jeanius-top.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/mac-jeanius-top.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.allurabeauty.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/MAC-Jeanius-All-Allura.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="272" src="http://www.allurabeauty.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/MAC-Jeanius-All-Allura.jpg" width="320" /></a> The new <b>MAC Collection Jeanius</b> is launch today at your local MAC stores (pro or counter). I haven't had the time to go check it out, but base on what I have seen online I think it is just "ok". I mean there's not a whole lot to pick from, but they all are limited edition. I do like it when MAC comes up with new colors and make them limited edition rather than just coming up with a fun theme and reintroduce colors that have been in older collections or simply add permanent products or colors. The colors in this collection are jean inspired which is a cool concept but I don't see the theme being incorporated into the packaging at all. Only the eyeshadows have a imprint jeans and a metallic section that mimics a button, which is similar to "To the Beach" collection the metallic layer will wear off after a couple of application. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">If you're interested check out <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEK-OqrPi84">Temptalia's</a> video for review/swatches.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><b><u>What I like and might get:</u></b> Just the bright pink blush in Overdyed (Satin finish), but most likely pass just because there isn't anything special about the packaging nor color. There are plenty of dupes. Please, don't take my word for it because I have not seen these in person. I will come back to change my opinions IF they win me over lol. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Another line is launched today by MAC... <b>Sheen Supreme</b>! <b>($14.50 each)</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BAZYrICmmIQ/TVOORryPkRI/AAAAAAAAVow/7_KFd_V8l6g/s1600/SheenSupremeLipstick-Lineup-300.jpg%20" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="247" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BAZYrICmmIQ/TVOORryPkRI/AAAAAAAAVow/7_KFd_V8l6g/s320/SheenSupremeLipstick-Lineup-300.jpg%20" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"> I am extremely excited to see these colors in person after seeing the wonderful swatches from <a href="http://karlasugar.net/2011/03/mac-sheen-supreme-lipstick/mac-sheen-supreme-1/">Karla Sugar</a>. I love lipsticks that are almost chapstick or lipbalm texture. I have wrinkly or noticeable creases on my lips, therefore drier formulas are not falttering nor are they something I would want to wear all day. I love <b>Korres Mango Butter</b> lipstick and <b>CHANEL Rouge CoCo Shine</b> formula as well as wear. Love to be able to apply and reapply lipstick without a mirror and without a balm or conditioner first. Seems like a lot of brands are catching the "trend" because <b>Bobbi Brown</b> just came out with new lipsticks that are hydrating and moisturizing too. <b>MAC Sheen Supreme</b> are similar to these formulas, but it seem like the colors are more opaque and SUPREME!! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b><u>What would I get from this collection</u></b>: Bare Again, Gotta Dash! ( of course because it is a light coral), Ultra Darling, and Full Speed. I will come back to let u know what I think think and what I purchase >_< Hopefully nothing, my wallet is already crying due to the title of this post. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Another reason today being a MAC Overload... <b>New Cremeblend Blushes ( $19.50)</b></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.musingsofamuse.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/MAC-Cremeblend-Blushes-1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://www.musingsofamuse.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/MAC-Cremeblend-Blushes-1.png" width="322" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Even though <b>MAC Cremeblend Blushes </b>are have been introduced once before and all are permanent this Spring 2011 Collection are new colors. There are six new colors if you want to see more description as well as swatches click <a href="http://www.temptalia.com/mac-cremeblend-blushes-for-spring-2011-official">here</a>.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.temptalia.com/images/spring2011/mac_cremeblendreview002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="http://www.temptalia.com/images/spring2011/mac_cremeblendreview002.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><u style="font-weight: bold;">Which would I get:</u> Probably none because I have about 6 creme blushes from NYX and they are as great for a lesser price of $5- 6 USD. I only use creme blushes during the summer to keep my blush on all day and setting it with a powder blush. I wouldn't wear it by itself because the tacky and sticky texture might attract dust, hair, etc. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">OK! Whew that was a long and overloaded post. I hope I did a good job overviewing the three new collections from MAC that is launch today. Check it out and let me know what you think! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Have a great day and don't be too overwhelmed!</div><div style="text-align: justify;">JEN :) </div>EmJustLikeYouhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07612739674650809968noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119785035437472977.post-70721480976641138532011-03-01T21:51:00.000-06:002011-03-01T21:51:35.205-06:00Wild for Wet N' Wild New Eyeshadow Palette<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-cp_Pv536Aos/TW1NWLE2RoI/AAAAAAAAAK0/boiBU4werBo/s1600/DSC00704.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="393" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-cp_Pv536Aos/TW1NWLE2RoI/AAAAAAAAAK0/boiBU4werBo/s400/DSC00704.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> I have been in love with this palette from Wet N' Wild and just had to share it with you all. I got it Super Bowl day when I needed a little bit of a pick me up after running errands and didn't have anything special on my face but powder. I got it at CVS and simply applied the definer color on the right and a little bit of highlighter for the evening. It's great when you least expect to like something... you fall in love.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-qIIiQaX4ezc/TW1jSs3QrhI/AAAAAAAAAK4/w25CrRr7_GM/s1600/DSC00709.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="210" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-qIIiQaX4ezc/TW1jSs3QrhI/AAAAAAAAAK4/w25CrRr7_GM/s400/DSC00709.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> This is with direct sunlight to see texture and shimmers</div><div style="text-align: center;">(Scroll down to the end to see close up of these colors)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_MHtsOoCUSY/TW1jVbQwb4I/AAAAAAAAAK8/G3Xj6YV6aGg/s1600/DSC00710.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="185" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_MHtsOoCUSY/TW1jVbQwb4I/AAAAAAAAAK8/G3Xj6YV6aGg/s400/DSC00710.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">This is the taken in shade which shows how the colors are indoors.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> The quality of the palette is actually very impressing because for only 4.99 USD for 8 shadows I was expecting BLEH. It's so pigmented and great to use with use a sponge tip applicator or your fingers. I do experience an amount of fall out, but we cannot expect high end material. For what it is and the price I think it is an excellent product. Love every single color and they are very complimentary to each other. I do not use the colors as it is directed, but I do notice that if you do not know how to pair colors you cannot go wrong with any combination from this palette. </div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"> Here are some pictures taken indoors in different angles so that you can see the many dimensions these colors have. I personally love the last color on the lowest right hand corner. It is similar to Lawsuit by Rock and Republic. In some angles it is a lighter brown and in some you can see the green in it. I use this often by itself all over my lids and it looks like I put a lot of effort into it. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Y9rX4FP7KEw/TW1jxx2bvAI/AAAAAAAAALA/GhT_QBEJbAs/s1600/DSC00718.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="371" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Y9rX4FP7KEw/TW1jxx2bvAI/AAAAAAAAALA/GhT_QBEJbAs/s400/DSC00718.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"> Notice the "Definer" color on the right is different in both pictures. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-MueO7_O6QUI/TW1j1C2MpqI/AAAAAAAAALE/QQUHF-yiB-Q/s1600/DSC00722.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="373" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-MueO7_O6QUI/TW1j1C2MpqI/AAAAAAAAALE/QQUHF-yiB-Q/s400/DSC00722.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Close up of the color I'm obsessed with.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DQ75cgLYNXY/TW23atDruHI/AAAAAAAAALI/H5l7vUKWm-8/s1600/DSC00720.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DQ75cgLYNXY/TW23atDruHI/AAAAAAAAALI/H5l7vUKWm-8/s320/DSC00720.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-q6HxIvajJ7k/TW23iLheyLI/AAAAAAAAALM/9NEmkKwadpA/s1600/DSC00721.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-q6HxIvajJ7k/TW23iLheyLI/AAAAAAAAALM/9NEmkKwadpA/s320/DSC00721.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> I think this color is worth the 4.99 USD by itself. I will post and update on some looks using this palette to give you some ideas soon. I hope you like it and hopefully you will be able to find it at your near by drugstore that carries Wet N' Wild. There are also similar palette like this one from the collection such as blues, purples, and greens. But of course, I stuck with the neutrals. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a closer look at the colors swatched</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-5YawkDMoXoo/TW27jwgr5JI/AAAAAAAAALQ/ffmV0tuvJTE/s1600/DSC00711.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="392" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-5YawkDMoXoo/TW27jwgr5JI/AAAAAAAAALQ/ffmV0tuvJTE/s400/DSC00711.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"> As you can see all of these colors are NOT MATTE and are very shimmer. If that's what you like then great! I think a little shimmer makes your eyes brighter and twinkles. These are shimmer not frosty or glittery. I think the pigments are great and the lasting power is super!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

GIVEAWAY<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--QjN3nzetQ4/TWgBu9aGSDI/AAAAAAAAAKg/cvtPSRDiKX4/s1600/DSC01008.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--QjN3nzetQ4/TWgBu9aGSDI/AAAAAAAAAKg/cvtPSRDiKX4/s400/DSC01008.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> The <b>OPI</b> <b>Shatter</b> is from the <b>Katy Perry Collection</b> is one of the most raved about nail polish out there right now. It is a polish that you use on top of your desired nail polish color and it will give the effected of shattered glass. The pattern is always different depending on how you apply it as well as how much you apply. It takes some time to get use to how to apply it but it is definitely easier than polishing your nails the usual way. I believe the polish might consist of a lot of thinner and some type of oil substance for the polish to separate and clump in some areas. In my experience as a manicurist for about 7 years, when there is excess oil on your nail bed the polish tends to not cover the surface well, but instead separates. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bpkcr3m8EtI/TWgBk5lRj2I/AAAAAAAAAKQ/Y5b2255PBj4/s1600/DSC00950.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bpkcr3m8EtI/TWgBk5lRj2I/AAAAAAAAAKQ/Y5b2255PBj4/s400/DSC00950.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"> My opinion, comparing the <b>OPI Shatter</b> and the <b>China Glaze Crackle </b>I like the <b>Shatter by OPI </b>much better because it is higher quality. It also might be the fact that it is black so the color stands out better, but with the separating effect <b>OPI</b> does a better job. I find that the <b>China Glaze Crackle</b> gives you larger pieces of the color you are using rather than showing mostly the main color you have underneath. I suggest using a top coat after the <b>Shatter </b>unless you like the matte finish, which I think is kind of gross. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;"> I thought this is a cool concept, but unfortunately the credit should be given to <b>COVERGIRL</b> because about a decade ago they came out with the same concept just poorly advertise and maybe the quality wasn't as great. Maybe this isn't for you and definitely I think it is totally not something I would rock all the time, but it is really fun to have and especially fun to show others the "magic".If you're a design or nail decal kind of girl this is the easiest way to get that without the hassle and time. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jS8Iu1PjnVk/TWiy4EDiFBI/AAAAAAAAAKs/bD0KsxhaeUs/s1600/DSC01005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jS8Iu1PjnVk/TWiy4EDiFBI/AAAAAAAAAKs/bD0KsxhaeUs/s400/DSC01005.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> So I decided any girl would like this and because I have had such great subscribers supporting me on my channel as well as my blog I wanted to do a giveaway. The giveaway starts today and ends right before spring break, which is <b>MARCH 13</b>. All you have to do is to be a subscriber to my channel on youtube: <b>EMJUSTLIKEYOU</b>. </div><div style="text-align: left;"> Here are some pictures I took using two different types of polish under the <b>SHATTER</b>. There is a dark one and a light one with sparkles. I think for my own preference the <b>SHATTER</b> shows up better with a glittery or shimmery polish under. You can be the judge on that. </div>EmJustLikeYouhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07612739674650809968noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119785035437472977.post-46346602764915608232011-02-19T22:53:00.003-06:002011-02-20T16:25:49.644-06:00Diana Agron at Grammys 2011 Inspired Look<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-27E0OG8P6uc/TWCYLk3p0fI/AAAAAAAAAJg/Tqy1ure7C7s/s1600/dianna+makeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="275" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-27E0OG8P6uc/TWCYLk3p0fI/AAAAAAAAAJg/Tqy1ure7C7s/s400/dianna+makeup.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I was kind of disappointed. The only look that caught my eye was Diana's ( aka Gwen from GLEE). I love how she played up her usual look of neutrals and went with a edgy rocker look. Very appropriate for the Grammys in my opinion. Gwen is my favorite in the show GLEE and I am so excited to be doing a look inspired by her. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> This look proves that any girl can look edgy and smokey even if you're a girl who is always in pinks and prefer soft looks, that's the fun thing about makeup. Depending on your mood and what you're wearing or where you're going, the same girl can show her a different side to her that know one knows just by applying makeup a little differently. Of course, this look is not for everyday... unless that is your thing, but for a special event where you'll be turning heads, this is definitely the look for that night.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;"> My look is a little different because I am wearing grayish lavender accessories and I want my look to have more of a silver look rather than black. I know the black's contrast on her skin is absolutely stunning, but just to make mine more sultry I think the gray looks better against my dark brown eyes. I suggest if you have a lighter eye color like Diana ( hazel, green, blue, etc.) substitute for black. I plied on colors to give the eye a lot of dimension. If you were to only use black the eye will look very flat. Adding a brown as a blending color gives the eyes a warm gradient effect. We will be able to see the eye makeup in different lighting and differentiate the colors used down below. </div><br />

BOY!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-scrTW-18pDI/TV7kIoNezeI/AAAAAAAAAI8/qm1vjkQmJiU/s1600/shine.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-scrTW-18pDI/TV7kIoNezeI/AAAAAAAAAI8/qm1vjkQmJiU/s640/shine.jpg" width="481" /></a></div><br />
See? I told you more <b>CHANEL</b> products will be on my blog haha. I know you're probably thinking it's just too pricey and that I'm crazy for getting hooked on this high high end brand. Well... please don't doubt me just yet. <b>CHANEL's</b> products really justify their price because of the quality. I know you can always find dupes for colors and quality for mascaras, eyeshadows, etc. but with <b>CHANEL's</b> products you can't simply find dupes. I think people that have gone through all brands high and low will understand the happiness of finally finding something you don't have to continue searching for. Even though I love my mascara, brushes, powders, and blushes I am always in the hunt for better products.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>CHANEL</b> have slapped a "STOP" sign on my forehead. I've tried their lipsticks, glosses, powders, foundation, etc. and they all are top on my holy grail list. I think you'll just have to try it for yourself. Why not spend more on one really really good product that is non replaceable instead of buying so much different brands of one product. You'll be saving money in the long run especially the quality will pay off.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SdGcHP6fZSs/TV7kOR55uXI/AAAAAAAAAJA/waeiI3YI_Eg/s1600/shine+away.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="375" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SdGcHP6fZSs/TV7kOR55uXI/AAAAAAAAAJA/waeiI3YI_Eg/s400/shine+away.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>Ok now that I have justify my obsession for <b>CHANEL</b> haha... let's go on with <b>CHANEL's</b> new lipstick formula <b>SHINE</b>. <b>SHINE</b> will be release in <u>April of 2011</u>, but the color <b>BOY</b> was released for a weekend up until Valentines Day. It's just a tease for us and to make people like me curious. Well, curious enough to buy it because it is <b>NEW</b> and limited until April.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sSJ2pf9HPP4/TV7oPKtjJ1I/AAAAAAAAAJE/_CYmVtlPIu4/s1600/DSC00866.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sSJ2pf9HPP4/TV7oPKtjJ1I/AAAAAAAAAJE/_CYmVtlPIu4/s400/DSC00866.JPG" width="380" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Right:</b> Heavily swatched <b>Left:</b> One swipe</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wKjqjTjUWDI/TV7oV27dZLI/AAAAAAAAAJI/k96z6OKv9C8/s1600/DSC00858.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wKjqjTjUWDI/TV7oV27dZLI/AAAAAAAAAJI/k96z6OKv9C8/s320/DSC00858.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">As you can tell, I've used quite a bit... hopefully it will last me until April ;)</div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6eVdZpRXPYw/TV7oYjonZ-I/AAAAAAAAAJM/Ly_dDAq6Z_o/s1600/DSC00859.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6eVdZpRXPYw/TV7oYjonZ-I/AAAAAAAAAJM/Ly_dDAq6Z_o/s320/DSC00859.JPG" width="320" /></a><br />
The color is very sheer pink with shimmer. The undertone is warmer and not pasty. I usually do not like shimmer, but <b>CHANEL</b>'s way of incorporating the finely milled shimmer makes it very forgiving on the lips in all condition. The shimmer actually makes the lips look more plump as well as shiny (hint the formula's name). The texture is extremely moisturizing and not so creamy. Lighter than a lipgloss, I must add. It's sheer but gives enough moisture with one sweep across the lips. I actually use it as my tinted lip conditioner. I can now leave my Chapstick/lip balm at home. My favorite part about this lipstick is that it is fool proof for application. I can reach into my purse get it out and apply without a mirror or standing still.<br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hEyM2dTNwIw/TV7obI853ZI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/Q-nX2xm354U/s1600/DSC00861.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hEyM2dTNwIw/TV7obI853ZI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/Q-nX2xm354U/s320/DSC00861.JPG" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
There is a <b>CHANEL</b> rose scent to the lipstick and I think it's lovely. I'd pick rose over vanilla smell like MAC's lipsticks any day! Wish the lipstick came in a bigger tube but the .2 oz difference compare to the regular <b>CHANEL</b> lipstick isn't that big of a difference. The price is the same for <b>SHINE</b> and other <b>CHANEL</b> lipsticks such as Rouge Coco and Rouge Allure. I just feel this way because the moisturizing texture this lipstick gives make you apply more and waste more product.<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
If you've missed this, I'm sorry. But my teaser should make you more excited for April. I will try my best to swatch as many as I can when the complete <b>SHINE</b> line comes out.<br />
<br />
If you've tried this formula tell me how you like it or dislike it.<br />

You will be able to see it later on in my blog and videos, but for starters let me just say OH MY to their polish quality. I am a licensed manicurist and have been working for about 7 years now. I love high quality polishes and some of my favorites are <b>OPI, Essie, China Glaze, ORLY</b>, and now on the top of my list is <b>CHANEL</b>.<br />
<br />
I actually got this polish for Valentines Day from my love and he knew I would never spend that much on nail polish because one, I get it for cheaper with my license, and two, I have too much beauty junk to add on a high maintenance "necessity".<br />
<br />
Black Pearl is from the new 2011 Spring Collection from CHANEL. I know you're probably thinking this color is too dark for Spring because when Spring comes to mind we think of lavender, pink, coral, yellow, and other pastels. But I cannot argue with Chanel. This color is daring yet classy. We have to trust CHANEL because they did bring Black as Chic (Black Satin) and Taupe as Fresh (Particuliere). This just works! It ties in with their Spring Collection so well! The color isn't that dark on your fingers due to the pearl effect and I must add, it is just like the name... it's a BLACK PEARL...well 10 pearls on your hands. I usually do not like frosty colors and lean more towards the cream finishes, but this color is just unexplainable. The pearl effect is demonstrated through strands of green sparkle and silver twinkles hehe. In some light it is blue, others it is green and far away it looks like a dark steel color. I think it will be great on any skin tone.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZNqGWs10AbE/TV1mV2ZGPmI/AAAAAAAAAIs/n8i1NH9CZOE/s1600/DSC00833.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZNqGWs10AbE/TV1mV2ZGPmI/AAAAAAAAAIs/n8i1NH9CZOE/s400/DSC00833.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
As you can see the "Black" in the color is slightly in the background of the polish and enhances the pearl blue/green, which does not make the color dark. Just like a black base is applied under eyeshadows to make the color more amplified as well as give it dimension. I tried my best to take as many pictures in different lighting and positions possible so that you can see the many dimension of the color.<br />

My next favorite would be the "Back to MAC" of course ;D. Viva Glam lipsticks and glosses are for a good cause. The full price of 14.50 USD is all donated. MAC does not profit at all. M·A·C will donate every cent of the selling price of Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglass to the M·A·C AIDS Fund to support men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS. This way you can beautify yourself as well as donate to a good cause. Actually because of the purpose of this line, I make more uneccessary purchases because I can justify my expenses!</span><br />

I'm not really into glosses at the time, but Karla Sugar had a <a href="http://karlasugar.net/2010/09/lips-of-the-day-viva-glam-cyndi-lipgloss/">LIP OF THE DAY </a>and surprisingly it was gorgeous. I converted and bought two! haha See what blogs can do to you AND me?</span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> Ok so here for the new GAGA Viva Glam VII... Gloss and lipstick is both released at the same time. Tomorrow the new GAGA will be in MAC stores and counters, but online <a href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/mac-viva-glam-vii-lipstick/3160626?cm_cat=fixed&cm_pla=keyword%253dnew%252bbeauty%2526origin%253dhubpgfixed&cm_ven=rss">Nordstrom</a> already have it up.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JAkGT-FkEJU/TVwjxMg3E0I/AAAAAAAAAIg/xl8KZaD6_Q0/s1600/MAC-Viva-Glam-VII-Lipstick-and-Lipglass2-Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: black; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JAkGT-FkEJU/TVwjxMg3E0I/AAAAAAAAAIg/xl8KZaD6_Q0/s400/MAC-Viva-Glam-VII-Lipstick-and-Lipglass2-Copy.jpg" width="271" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-t3Ze-5-eK-U/TVwjxaSxCaI/AAAAAAAAAIk/tIF0kNzoml8/s1600/MAC-Viva-Glam-VII-Lipstick-and-Lipglass3-Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: black; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-t3Ze-5-eK-U/TVwjxaSxCaI/AAAAAAAAAIk/tIF0kNzoml8/s400/MAC-Viva-Glam-VII-Lipstick-and-Lipglass3-Copy.jpg" width="271" /></span></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> The color is too beige and creamy. I think it is going to be like the original GAGA Viva Glam just not pink. The finish is amplified, so I think it will cover pigmented lips well. The only other way I think this color would look good is if you use it to mute your lips and apply a color you wish shows up on your lips like it does in the package. BUT I hope I'll like it... because it is for a GOOD CAUSE ;D</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">IF you decide to get it or happen to stop by the counters and try it out, please let me know how you like it! I won't be rushing out to have a look, but I will come back with my input after my weekly run to Nordstrom.</span><br />

It just came in the mail today from <a href="http://www.yesstyle.com/en/home.html">YesStyle</a>. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> What is <b><u>POND'S FLAWLESS WHITE</u></b>? It's a product line that is not available in the USA due to customer demands, I believe. It's a custom/tradition that many asian woman love and believe white or lighter skin is beautiful. Kind of the opposite here because people pay tanning salons just to get darker. I think it started with the belief that if you are darker (in Asia), then you are a lower class person or at least from a chain of lower class relatives. Because the darker you are the more time you spend outside, and among the many reason of being outside a lot is working out on the fields. Unlike here in the USA, a good tan means you have time to actually go on a vacation and enjoy some sunlight. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b> <u>POND'S FLAWLESS WHITE</u></b> is actually mostly compared to S<b>hishedo's WHITE LUCENT</b>. I cannot say how the Shishedo one is because I have not tried it, but my friend Ha has and said it took forever for her to see results and that it cost too much for her to keep up with so she gave up after one buy. Therefore, I cannot say if you were to continue to use it that it could give permanent result ( I doubt it), but it hard to spit up hundreds to have even skin tone. Oh! That leads me to the question you're probably asking and thinking of... why would we ( those who do not live in ASIA or want to be "white") want this product? </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> I personally decided to buy this because I have easily scar acnes or in other words my acnes leaves dark spots after it has attacked my face. I'm not dark so it doesn't blend in and I'm not fortunate to not be light enough for it to turn into red/pink scars. I've been using Lancome's Genifique Youth Concentrate for about 3 months now and love that it has even out my skin tone and even out my texture, but I don't think it has properties to fade scars and even out my slightly darker forehead and chin to the rest of my face. On top of that I have freckles and even though I have discover SPF 55++ it can only protect me from now on and cannot reverse the damage the sun has done. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> I purchased <b>POND'S FLAWLESS WHITE</b> deep cleanser and nightcream. The reason why I did not purchase anything else from the line is because the other products are used daily through out the day. Products like these that acts like a bleach to the skin is extremely sensitive to the sun. I do not want to risk the chance of thinning my skin or create skin damage during the day. My scars have been barable for this long already so the speed isn't my concern. I'm only going to use the cleanser at night and then use the nightcream under my moisturizer. </div><br />
FIRST IMPRESSION:<br />
<b>- CLEANSER</b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-h9BlBUowcMI/TVojlX1FDdI/AAAAAAAAAIM/Z-JsM9iMRlE/s1600/cleanser.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-h9BlBUowcMI/TVojlX1FDdI/AAAAAAAAAIM/Z-JsM9iMRlE/s320/cleanser.jpg" width="160" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"> The smell is extremely nice and I know a lot of people prefer no fragrance in their skincare because it makes them believe that the product is purely medicinal and miracle work, but honestly I cannot put anything on my face ( because it is near my nose of course) that stinks. This pleasant smell of roses and other flowers make it more fun to put on as well as makes me feel "pretty" if that makes sense. There are little finely milled pink sand like particles in the cleanser that dissolves once you lather it onto the face. A little goes a long way and the texture is very creamy. The "foam" that is mentioned on the package is more like a soap with little water type of foam and not a foam from a foam nozzle. After rinsing the product off, my face feels squeaky clean... and by that I mean it actually made squeaky noises. I don't think that is a bad or good thing because that might mean there is a high amount of pH causing the product to be basic. The more basic a product is the more "soapy" the product's substances resembles. </div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><b>- NIGHTCREAM</b><br />
<br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qKfEtWbVBYY/TVojub2OHJI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/bUetbg0to4U/s1600/SXiV.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qKfEtWbVBYY/TVojub2OHJI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/bUetbg0to4U/s200/SXiV.jpg" width="200" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">The smell again is extremely nice and I just can't get enough of it. Very clean, classy, and not delicious but more like a bouquet of flowers. Even though you cannot see the shimmer in the pot it is very visible on the face... and let just me add THANK GOODNESS it is a nightcream. I hope this shimmer comes off once I wash my face tomorrow morning. I do not want to go out looking like a disco ball. The texture is creamy, but after it is spread, it becomes more like a very velvety powder. The feeling is luxurious and kind of mattifying. I think maybe if it is similar to the regular daily lotion/cream, then it might help those with oily skin. If it was daytime I would have to say this is enough moisture, but for nighttime I prefer to lather on a lot a lot of moisturizer, so I did put my <b>POND's Dry Cream </b>on afterward. </div><br />
<br />
<br />
Why I wasn't afraid to use this product?<br />
- I have been in love with many of POND'S products such as Dry Cream, Cooling Cream, and Makeup Remover.<br />
Try it out once you get a chance because these are available at your nearest drugstore such as Wal-Mart.<br />
<br />
That was my first impression and if you're curious for more please stay tune and I will do a complete review with before and after pictures of the results in about two weeks.<br />
<br />
GOODNIGHT Beauties!<br />

People were asking me what other places do I go to and how did they not know of these places. Well I guess it's just that I've been doing this my whole life! SHOPPING, but once I started to pay for expenses on my own (detached from the <b>HUMAN ATM</b>... aka my parents) I had to be smarter on what I am spending on. It started after I discovered <b>ROSS</b>! Always heard from people that only "poor" people or those who cannot afford department store shops at <b>ROSS</b>. <b>WRONG!!! </b>Ross is actually for people who are smart enough to know about stores like these and not depend on department stores to reassure them of their fashion taste. Just because the mannequin wears it doesn't mean it's stylish or fashion forward. Style is used to describe or characterize who you are. Are you a mannequin? BTW, the mannequin did not have a choice I the clothes it is wearing... YOU DO! I know so many people who don't show at other stores other than stores that are inside malls. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in "you get what you pay for", but if you CAN get it for cheaper why not? I feel like if I pay for something FULL price then I'm just dumb. Some slip ups that are worth it is ok, such as high quality purses lol.</span></span></div><div style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 10pt; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vrwd3NXlafg/TVcbhl8iUII/AAAAAAAAAIE/9yh8DaTaBNg/s1600/DSC00807.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vrwd3NXlafg/TVcbhl8iUII/AAAAAAAAAIE/9yh8DaTaBNg/s320/DSC00807.JPG" width="207" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;"><br />

Just keep in mind of the brands that you like and I KNOW you can find it there. Also, you just have to trust your style and taste as well as know how to mix match between low end and high end. Meaning... you can bring in your things that you no longer want or need and they will give you either credit to the store or cash. You can also shop there for other peoples' clothes. Don't think this is gross because you'll actually find vintage things and classics. "One's trash can be another's treasure". Clothes and accessories are pieces of art that need to be recycled. <br />
I feel so bad for not being able to update my blog, but honestly I haven't bought anything that I could swatch. Like you've seen on my channel my hauls are mostly foundations, concealers, powders, etc. It's kind of hard to swatch those and to be really blunt, "I'm LAZY." But only Wonder Woman can make me get off my booty and start my blog again.<br />
<br />
I've been cheating a lot by subscribing to as many blogs out there as I could because reading them was so much better than writing on my own haha. It's just because I find other people's blogs such as; KarlaSugar, Temptalia, Of Face and Fingers, Look Book, Beauty Anonymous, etc. to have so many helpful and interesting things to read on. But I never thought MY stuff could be interesting to someone else. Sorry for doubting myself ! I was just having one of those moments. I will now try my hardest to continue with this blog and try to help out my channel viewers as well as those who cannot watch YouTube due to work, school, or possibly stay at home moms who's only free moments are when the children are asleep and cannot listen to youtubers. Here's a blog to keep you entertain.<br />
<br />
Enough of my excuses and my rambling of how I decided to be motived and persistant. Let's get it started with MAC's new line WONDER WOMAN! I actually found out that MAC was going to have a Wonder Woman Collection the day I got the honor to guest swatch with KarlaSugar.net ( Click here to see our swatches: <a href="http://karlasugar.net/2011/01/mac-peacocky-on-nc35/">MAC Peacocky w/ Karla Sugar</a>) " MY ARM GOT FAMOUS". haha. Well anyways, we saw promotion boards and decorations for the collection in a box on the ground. Ok, we were not that desperate to actually open the box, it was already open so we peeked! So excited we couldn't waited for the preview date.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-O2CZeFa433Q/TVTJJm3fSkI/AAAAAAAAAG8/8u6pN6NaPVQ/s1600/DSC00674.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-O2CZeFa433Q/TVTJJm3fSkI/AAAAAAAAAG8/8u6pN6NaPVQ/s400/DSC00674.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/NLF6DfDcMWc?hd=1" title="YouTube video player" width="560"></iframe><br />
<br />
</div>The preview date came around and for once in a LONG time it snowed/iced here where I live and the day was canceled. Then after postponing the day, MAC surprised everyone and launched the collection ONLINE super weird time! Like 7pm Central time or something like that. So Karla and I decided to call a rain check and I just ordered what we wanted online, which I would get the products faster than going to the preview and purchasing it through the pre-sale.<br />
<br />
OK! SO what did I get?? I got the three most NORMAL out of the collection... what does that mean exactly? I purchased what I thought would be the first items to be sold out as well as the ones I think would be most flattering on ANY skin tone. Keep in mind before you see the prices and freak out, most product in the line is SUPER-SIZED! I guess Wonder Woman needs wonderfully large amount of products to last her while saving the day. SWATCHES are at the end!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lAt3DFwXZ_k/TVTIX8v3zCI/AAAAAAAAAGs/ycJacyMvWHI/s1600/DSC00683.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lAt3DFwXZ_k/TVTIX8v3zCI/AAAAAAAAAGs/ycJacyMvWHI/s320/DSC00683.JPG" width="309" /></a></div><br />
I got <b>Pink Power a mineralized- skinfinish</b>. It's super huge... we will be able to see a picture of the comparison to a regular skinfinish down below. The difference is that the WW is <b>20 g/ .7 oz ( $35)</b> and the regular SF is usually <b>10g/ .35oz ($28)</b>. So you're probably thinking... WOW! That is twice the product for just 7 dollars more! Yea... but also no because when you purchase a SF you're using it as one product. The <b>Pink Power</b> from WW is actually a trio... I've tried it as a blend and it just looks funny. There are three colors... A pink sheer frost that can act as a blush on fair to medium skin or a highlighter for darker skin. Then there is a larger portion of bronzer which would show up all the way up to NC42-5. And lastly, there is a portion the same size as the pink and it is a vanilla ( reminds of NYLON eyeshadow from MAC) sheer highlighter.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-d4q2Hp5UzAk/TVTId4hLZOI/AAAAAAAAAGw/bDrMZ4QS1VA/s1600/DSC00679.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-d4q2Hp5UzAk/TVTId4hLZOI/AAAAAAAAAGw/bDrMZ4QS1VA/s400/DSC00679.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dZJwSvfT4Bs/TVTJf3OKLsI/AAAAAAAAAHE/ZyU66D39oNk/s1600/DSC00680.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dZJwSvfT4Bs/TVTJf3OKLsI/AAAAAAAAAHE/ZyU66D39oNk/s400/DSC00680.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b>The regular size clearly is smaller than WW's SF in Pink Power</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uuJ67bapObw/TVTIkhWEifI/AAAAAAAAAG0/WgeNMDDd6Q8/s1600/DSC00684.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uuJ67bapObw/TVTIkhWEifI/AAAAAAAAAG0/WgeNMDDd6Q8/s320/DSC00684.JPG" width="320" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rnJZw-Jw0x0/TVTInPvqAzI/AAAAAAAAAG4/Ld8vDcc997Y/s1600/DSC00685.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rnJZw-Jw0x0/TVTInPvqAzI/AAAAAAAAAG4/Ld8vDcc997Y/s320/DSC00685.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">Is a must have? No... unless you are a bronzer, highlighter junkie and want to collect them all. Also, I think it will be an inconvenience later because you might use one of the section more and then later the level of the product will interfere with your application. How weird would it be if you were to have brownish highlighter?? The size and amount of product is a plus, but in the long run maybe a pass. I think if you love Wonder Woman or the packaging AND you love a versatile product then GO FOR IT! Another point I would like to make is that could enable you to buy or not would be the fact that since the packaging is so HUGE, why did MAC not put a mirror in it? This is a good product to bring along since it's essential for touch ups and the fact that it is as big as your face... why not put a mirror for better usage?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-S1vIV8_bj1Y/TVTMw89GPwI/AAAAAAAAAHI/8xgiu4ak5WI/s1600/DSC00666.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="385" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-S1vIV8_bj1Y/TVTMw89GPwI/AAAAAAAAAHI/8xgiu4ak5WI/s400/DSC00666.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Taken with flash for a true color capture!</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Not a bronzer highlighter kind of person? I got the BLUSH also ! (Ah... I thought I had enough after my R&R haul, but NOPE) I got the <b>Mighty Aphrodite (Satin/Frost) Powder Blush</b>. Again, instead of getting the regular Powder Blush for <b>$19.50 (6g/ .21oz)</b> you'll be spending <b>$24.00 (11g/.38oz)</b>, which is almost double the product. Like the MSF there are sections and for the blush the frost section is larger with a peachy light pink with fine gold shimmer. The smaller section is a warm rosey color. When used together it creates a perfect pinch on the cheek color. It goes on like coral yet pink on me. I love the color because it gives your face a tan glow and warmth. AH like SUNKISSED! The shimmer is very forgiving because it only shows in the sunlight as glisten. I am in love with this blush. At first I was like, eh not that special, BUT on... that's another story. You'll have to try it out yourself to trust my words. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"> I purchased the WW Lipstick in Marquise D' (Lustre) for $15.50. Why the extra $1.50?? Nope, you do not get more product... I guess it's for the different packaging. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

There is a warm shimmer to the color but does not show up on the lips. I have pigmented lips and it shows up a little lighter than HUG ME ( by MAC also a lustre finish). It is a natural/neutral color, great paired with a smoke eye, but unfortunately I feel like the color doesn't stay on well. If you were to blot your lips or accidentally touch it then the color is completely off in that area and you have a space on your lip without color. I guess this would be good for those who want a "nude" lipcolor that is warm and has a mauve/pink tone to it so that they do not look like a white corpse. I would only purchase this if I felt like the packaging is cute and I wanted a neutral color. The others from this collection is kind of loud for me. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><br />
Ok, so I didn't do a video on the Lancome Beauty Box for the reason being I did not have the box in my posession. I was very excited for Lancome's holiday gift sets and especially for the Beauty Box. The difference between their regular gift sets and the Beauty Box is that you actually have to purchase the box, but for a cheaper price. For any purchases at all, it doesn't matter the price, you can purchase the Beauty Box for $49.50.<br />
<br />
Why pay for a gift set? Well, every product is actually full size. I believe Lancome calls it deluxe. It is a good deal if you think about it... one Color Design Eyeshadow Quad is already $40 or more and then you're getting the Bi-Facil (my fav) makeup remover, 3 lipstick, Kohl eyeliner, 2 brushes, 2 juicy tubes, and a blush duo. The only down side to that is if you do not like anything in the box except for one item. That is actually my own experience. I only liked the bag itself and the Bi-Facil. Overall, I would have to say that it isn't a good deal if you are forcing yourself to buy it just because of the retail price on the package or the fact that it's a bigger set then a usual Lancome gift set. :) You get to pick from two collection, Glamour or Party Pink. Glamour is a neutral ( how ironic) that consist of warm browns, coral, etc. Of course I stayed on the safer side and got the Glamour collection.<br />
<br />
<b>Lipstick</b>... well you get three. All are full size but the packaging of them are still tester style. If you like sheen lipsticks then they are great! I do not like sheen because it is a colorless frost on my lips. Especially with my crevices it only enhances it. The only color I like is... Sugar Maple because the darkness of the color blends away the sheen look. I would have to say PASS!<br />
<br />
<b>Eyeshadow Quad</b>... Seems like the perfect neutrals. Has dark matte brown, pink-goal, matte vanilla, and a matte white. I used the eyeshadow with Lancome's Primer Ombre Perfecteur and the colors did not show up very well. It kind of reminds me of L'Oreal's quality and it doesn't surprise me because they are from the same company. I have never had really good pigmentation from Lancome's eyeshadows and with this quad it was to the extreme. It was my experience but maybe if you used it with Urban Decay's Primer Potion it would be better. Overall I did not like it.<br />
<br />
The <b>two brushes </b>are a face brush and the other is a eyeshadow brush. Both are died red for a holiday look and I absolutely love the idea. Unfortunately they shed and the quality was bad. No product could be picked up by the brushes sufficiently. The brushes were not dense enough. Lancome really disappointed me this time. Usually their brushes and gifts are great.<br />
<br />
The <b>blush duo</b> that came with the Glamour collection was coral and very gold shimmery. I will have to say there was more gold. The blush seemed more like a highlighter and the cream highlighter was much darker then the blush. VERY ODD! I wanted to like it because I love blush but the pigmentation as well as mill was poor.<br />
<br />
The bag itself was ok... I have seen better quality from Lancome the previous years. This one is cute base on the contrast of the red lining and the black, but it is fabric and it will get dirty with makeup as well as not last long. Inside there are not many compartments. There are only 2 and that is simply not enough!<br />
<br />
The only thing I liked from my Beauty Box was the <b>Kohl liner</b> and the <b>Bi-Facil eye makeup remover</b>. I have always used these two products from Lancome and the quality was the same in the box.<br />
<br />
Overall I will have to say the quality seemed to be different and was not worth it. I rather pick and chose the right colors and items for myself from Lancome instead of following the high of gift sets. The reason why I do not have the box anymore is because I had to return it. I felt guilty for having makeup I did not like. I have a large enough collection and do not need to add more of products I do not truly love.<br />
<br />
I hope that your experience with this year's Beauty Box is better and this is strictly my own opinion. But I also hope that my review helped you make your decision on purchasing it for as a gift.<br />
<br />
And til next time!<br />

<div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div>Here are my holy grail drugstore products that I use on a regular basis. I cannot say enough how much I love L'Oreal's Liquid Lineur Intense and Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. Well, how do you know it is good for you? Or what if you're using other similar products and wanting to try out these? I've decided to do a new segment on my channel call... Battle of the... which will feature two similar products and I will introduce the pros and cons and tell you which one I actually am using at the moment. The goal of this new fun segment is to just inform my watchers and readers on the products differences and hope that it will be helpful for you to make the decision. I am trying it out on my own interest and I am not paid to do so, therefore my opinions are very honest. I hope it is helpful and please let me know on my video of more products you would like to see on Battle of the...<br />

I love her make up and especially the layers of gold accessories. All you need for this look is a darker foundation, dramatic eyes, and lots of gold accents. I incorporated gold into the eyes, cheeks, and lips to tie in the whole look. Yes , I did cut my bangs for this look and I think it really complete the look. You do NOT have to cut yours. :) There are so many wigs out there or you can get bang clip- ons from your nearest beauty supply store. This is an easy costume to put together. There are so many dollar stores that will have gold jewelry to pick from. I got mine off of ebay and some from goodwill/thirft stores. Well, here's the look!<br />

If you didn't have time to put together a look as well as didn't think you were going to do anything for Halloween it is really easy to whip something up. Not only is this look easy, fast, and cheap but you will definitely not look like anyone else. You can make the mask to your own preferences and keep it for the next Halloween. Here is my All in One Halloween Fairytale Masquerade; hair, mask, makeup, costume how to do it yourself. Here it goes!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Here we are again with some more Rock & Republic cosmetics that just came in the mail. I wanted to do a "Open box" video so that you all can see what my first impression as well as see the way it is carefully packaged. Unfortunately, FedEx comes to my house at almost 7pm every time and the lighting was horrible. Alright here are 8 eyeshadows, 3 lipglosses, and 1 pressed powder. Again, I am blown away from the products and its quality.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b>Pressed Powder: Comparison to MAC Studio Fix</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3158346/R&R%20027.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3158346/R&R%20027.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;">MAC Studio Fix in C4 vs R&R in Satin</span></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"> OMG, I think I am in love again! I know, I know you all are extremely tired of me raving about these products, but I love R&R pressed powder. This is the only product I was extremely worried about because R&R website pictures are HORRIBLE. I did not know if the color was a good match for me. BUT... It is even better than my MAC Studio Fix in C4. Satin is a warm yellow undertone. I wear a NC 28-30 and sometimes 35 and this powder would work for all of those. I hope that helps you all make the decision on whether it is a good match for your skintone. The texture is much more fine than MAC's but that does not mean it is very loose. It's compact and when you use it with a wet brush it can be layered as a foundation. LOVE LOVE LOVE!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Q9WyW88FHtY/TMx6I_PowzI/AAAAAAAAAF8/dRfap5hqOYA/s1600/DSC05709.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Q9WyW88FHtY/TMx6I_PowzI/AAAAAAAAAF8/dRfap5hqOYA/s200/DSC05709.JPG" width="200" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Q9WyW88FHtY/TMx6BpjrMsI/AAAAAAAAAF4/2kQw7JzHboU/s1600/DSC05706.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Q9WyW88FHtY/TMx6BpjrMsI/AAAAAAAAAF4/2kQw7JzHboU/s320/DSC05706.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

The reason it is my favorite may not be the same for you because everyone's preferences are different. The texture is smooth and NOT STICKY AND NO SMELL!! I would always use it with a chapstick or lipbalm underneath. The color can be very nice when applied thinly or pile on very thick for an intense look. (Note: The blended swatch is paired with an intense swatch so that you can compare how it will be) The lipgloss is more like a stain texture because it is more liquify, but does not leave your lips stained when u wipe it off. After eating and talking for hours the color did not last as well, but did leave a even and beautiful stain color on my lips. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3158346/R&R%20032.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3158346/R&R%20032.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;">COUGAR </span></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;"></span><span class="Apple-style-span">(True Red no Shimmer with a Deep Blue Undertone)</span></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

But when I swatched it... they were completely different! If you are a warm neutral person, I think R&R color choices for eyeshadows are for you. If you like vibrant and fun colors then I do not think you will be satisfy with their color selection. Even the brightest colors such as "Electric" turn out to be a warm wearable blue, not over the top at all. Every color can be an everyday wear. All of the colors are not matte and they do have a settle shimmer. On the lid, the shimmer does not show up unless used with a primer. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span"><br />
